Josh Hill will mount a title assault on the 2012 CERTINA Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship with reigning champions Fortec Motorsport.
Hill raced in the main 2011 championship with Manor Competition, but made a switch to Fortec for the end of season Finals Series. After an impressive performance in the six-race series, in which he took pole position for all six races and took his maiden Formula Renault UK wins, Hill has decided to stick with Fortec for the new campaign.
Fortec’s Formula Renault 2.0 UK Team Manager Alex Fleming said: “Josh is undoubtedly quick and has a year's Formula Renault experience under his belt. Combined with his dedication and hard work, I'm sure we will see him develop as a regular race winner and a strong contender in 2012.”
Hill is the fourth driver to be announced in Fortec’s line up for 2012, joining Shahaan Engineer, Dan de Zille and Jake Dennis.
