Highly rated Mexican talents Franco Aragones and Diego Menchaca are getting set to move into UK Formula Renault this year.
The drivers are moving to the UK to race as part of Escuderia Telmex's 2012 driver line up, the duo joining a team of drivers backed by the Mexican communications giant Telmex that includes Sauber F1 driver Sergio Perez and 2010 GP3 champion Esteban Gutierrez.
An article on Milenio Online indicates that 15 year old Aragones will compete in the Protyre Formula Renault BARC Championship with Fortec Motorsport, with Menchaca down to compete in the CERTINA Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship with MGR Motorsport, those these details are awaiting confirmation.
Tweets from both drivers indicate that they have been testing at Thruxton this week, whilst images on Aragones' website show he's been testing previously at Brands Hatch.
