Swiss drivers were on top again in second practice for the FIA Formula Two Championship races at Spa-Francorchamps, with Alex Fontana pipping teen sensation Matheo Tuscher for the fastest time.
In a closely fought session, Tuscher fell just 0.036s shy of Fontana, who scored points on a one-off GP3 appearance at the Belgian circuit last year.
Behind that, Hector Hurst impressed with the third fastest time, while Indian driver Parthiva Sureshwaren was fourth fastest, just 0.192s off the pace.
Championship leader Luciano Bacheta was fifth, narrowly ahead of fellow Brit Daniel McKenzie. Kevin Mirocha was seventh with series debutant Vittorio Ghirelli in eighth.
Mihai Marinescu was ninth, with fellow Nurburgring race winner and first practice pacesetter Christopher Zanella in tenth. Zanella was just ahead of Axcil Jefferies and Mauro Calamia.
Dino Zamparelli was 13th, ahead of Markus Pommer, David Zhu, Plamen Kralev and Max Snegirev. Kourosh Khani finished up last after a heavy impact at Eau Rouge, bringing out the red flags.
