Welsh teenager Seb Morris has been one of the latest group of drivers to be announced as a British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC) Rising Star.

MSA Academy member Morris won the Ginetta Junior Championship in 2011, before making a successful switch into single-seaters this season in the Protyre Formula Renault BARC Championship, taking five pole positions and three wins so far this campaign.

“I’m really honoured to have been named a Rising Star – it’s a special feeling being part of the most elite motorsport club in the world, I can’t thank the BRDC enough”, said the 16-year-old, “It’s great knowing the people at the BRDC have spotted talent and potential in me, I’m really proud to represent the club and I’m focused on repaying such fantastic support which is huge for my career.”
