Rallyday Returns To Autumn Date In 2013

For 2013 Rallyday at Castle Combe will return to its traditional Autumn date, organisers confirming the 13th edition of the event will take place on September 21.

The 2012 event was earlier than normal, owing to the change in date for the UK round of the World Rally Championship, but with WRC back to its usual date in November for 2012the UK’s biggest rally car show has been able to revert to the Autumn.

The event at the Wiltshire circuit has established itself with a favourite of fans over the year and attracts big names from the world of rallying with Ford WRC driver Petter Solberg and Ott Tanak leading the list last year.

Others in attendance in 2012 included British Rally Champions Jonny Milner, Jimmy McRae and Russell Brookes and double Dakar Rally winner JeanLouis Schlesser who headlines the Cooper Tires sponsored Rally Raid zone with the Race2Recovery team who will take on the Dakar Rally this month as they aim to become the first team of injured armed service personnel to complete the gruelling event.

Discounted tickets for spectators as well as booking forms for car and 4×4 clubs, clubmans rally teams and traders will be available for February 1.
