Jamun Sign Up Second Argentinian For 2013

1 Mins read

Multiple Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain champions Jamun Racing have signed up Nicolas Maranzana to its squad for the upcoming season.

The 17 year old car racing rookie will join countryman Juan Angel Rosso in the team’s line-up, alongside Brit Luke Williams.

Maranzana has three years of karting success under his belt, and has recently tested Jamun’s EcoBoost-powered Mygale chassis.

“I have driven the car twice already and I enjoyed it a lot,” said Maranzana. “The gearbox, the wings. it’s a very good car and I am looking forward to learning with Jamun.”

Maranzana arrives in Formula Ford under the wing of ex-Formula 1 designer, countryman Sergio Rinland.

“Nico has been very successful in karts and comes highly recommended by everyone – including [2012 Formula Ford race-winner] Eric Lichtenstein, who he used to race against. I am sure that Nico will be very successful with Jamun,” added Rinland.
