Bentley will debut its new Continental GT3 as part of the brand’s biggest ever presence at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on 12-14 July.
The new car will take to the hill climb course for the first time on Friday 12th July and will be joined by two of its road-going sisters, with four time World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen taking the Continental GT Speed coupe, Bentley’s fastest production model ever, up the hill.
Derek Bell MBE will also be back on duty for Bentley, taking the Continental GT Speed Convertible, the fastest four-seat convertible in the world, up the Goodwood hill.
“Coming back to Goodwood with Bentley is always a real honour.” said the five-time Le Mans winner. “This year I have the pleasure of driving a 616 bhp convertible up the infamous hill. 2013 is certain to be a great year for us at the Festival.”
2013 marks the tenth anniversary of Bentley’s famous 1-2 finish at the Le Mans 24 Hours and the same Speed 8 machines, #7 and #8, will be piloted up the hill by their original drivers, Guy Smith and David Brabham.
The new Continental GT3 will be unveiled at 10:15 on Friday 12th July in the F1 paddock.
