Century Motorsport Target Formula Ford Return

1 Mins read

GT stars Century Motorsport are targeting a return to the Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain next season after three seasons away.

The Warwickshire-based outfit last competed in the single-seater series in 2010, running a single car entry alongside Juno.

In 2013, Century were race-winners in the Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup, as well as championship challengers in the GT4 class of the Avon Tyres British GT Championship.

“We are hoping to run two Formula Fords next year alongside our existing cars in the Ginetta championships, and our British GT campaign,” said team boss and 2006 Formula Ford champion Nathan Freke.

“We looked within the TOCA paddock at what we’d like to be doing and Formula Ford was top of the list: we’ve been there before, have experience of running the cars, and it’s more affordable than many championships out there. We have spoken to a number of drivers and things are looking positive.”
