Fluid Evaluate 2014 Works Sinter Entry

1 Mins read

Fluid Motorsport are evaluating a return to the Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain next season with a full works Sinter entry.

The Norfolk-based outfit construct the Sinter EcoBoost chassis, which has been used this season by the Radical and SWB Motorsport teams. The chassis has struggled for pace against its Mygale rival though.

Fluid sat out 2013 to concentrate on the development of the chassis, and are now targeting a two-car team in the series next year.

“Ford has made a sensible decision by keeping technical rules stable for next year so it helps teams go out and sell drives as the car is now a known quantity,” Fluid head Lindsay Allen told Motorsport News.

“We’ve got cars ready and we’re talking to drivers. We’d like to be back in the championship as a factory team to support the category.”
