Monteiro Leads Honda Podium Lockout In Second Shanghai Race

Tiago Monteiro scored his first victory for Honda in the World Touring Car Championship as he led fellow Civic drivers Gabriele Tarquini and Norbert Michelisz home in race two in Shanghai.

The factory cars of Monteiro and Tarquini led from the front row of the grid, and finished just over a second apart. Michelisz saw off Rob Huff to complete the podium.

Huff defended well from Yvan Muller to take fourth, with James Nash completing the top six to take his Yokohama Trophy win of the day and extend his points lead.

Pepe Oriola took seventh after passing Tom Coronel, while Stefano D’Aste and race one winner Tom Chilton completed the top ten.
