Rookie Quartet Join Falcon For Spanish Test

1 Mins read

Ricky Collard, Harrison Wignall, Greg Holloway and Chris Mealin have been confirmed as four of the drivers heading to southern Spain next week for testing with Falcon Motorsport.

All four drivers got their first taste of the current EcoBoost Formula Ford car at the championship’s annual Sampler Day earlier this month.

Collard and Wignall are looking at making their single-seater racing debuts in Formula Ford GB in 2014, while Mealin and Holloway are aiming to join the series with experience in Formula Ford 1600 in the UK and Australia respectively.

Oxfordshire-based Falcon are running a week-long young driver assessment at the Guadix circuit next week in preparation for its three-car assault on the 2014 Formula Ford GB season.

“We are delighted to be welcoming Ricky, Harrison, Greg and Chris to the test,” said Falcon Motorsport team principal Nick Streatfield.

“We are very pleased also that Harrison Scott will be joining us for the first two days to assist with driver assessment and chassis set-up. We are still talking to a number of others who would like to attend, so I am sure that it will prove to be a very useful and full week of testing.”
