How old are you?

36

Where are you from?

Monterey, Mexico

How long have you been racing?

Since I was 12 (but took a 7 year break from 2003-2010).

What are you racing in 2014 and in what series?

I drive the #99 Mclaren MP4 12C GT3 for ART Grand Prix in the European Le Mans Series

What is your first motor sport related memory?

Going to the F1 races in Mexico with my dad.

Karting with my friend Luis Diaz and my brother Roberto in Mexico.

What got you in to motor sport?

My dad used to race and he always took me and my brother Roberto karting, so he helped us get into it.

What and where was your first race?

I was 16 years old and I had an F3 race in Las Vegas where I qualified on pole and finished 2nd.

What is your best racing memory?

Wining the 24 Hours of Le Mans last year.

What are your hopes for the rest of the season?

To keep improving in the GT3 car which I had never driven before.  We want to keep scoring points and win at least one race.

What are your long term plans?

Since we already won Le Mans, and the world champinsihp, now I’m focusing on expanding my experience, and winning more championships in different categories.  But definitely winning Le Mans again is my goal.

One song you would listen to to prepare yourself for a race?

No music for me, I like to just focus and relax, hang out with my family and my teammates and not think too much about the race.
