Repsol Honda Unveil 2015 MotoGP Livery

1 Mins read

Repsol Honda riders Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa have lifted the covers on their 2015 RC213V in Bali, showcasing a slightly tweaked livery. The reigning champions chose the tropical Indonesian island for their launch and the new machine will retain much of last year’s paint scheme with an increased presence from Red Bull after the energy drinks manufacturer announced a new partnership with the team.

Marquez will head into the new season aiming for a third consecutive title and after avoiding the injuries which disrupted his preparation for the 2014 campaign, Marquez will arrive in Sepang this week raring to go.

“It’s been a long and busy Winter break and now I’m really looking forward to starting the season! It’s great to be able to present our new bikes in Indonesia, together with our partner Astra Honda, it’s such a beautiful backdrop! It’s my first time here in Bali and it’s wonderful to see all the fans here and feel their enthusiasm for MotoGP. Tomorrow we leave for Malaysia, I’ve trained a lot during last month to prepare myself for these first two tests in Sepang and I’m excited to be with my crew again and see how the new bike is working after Valencia test!”

Pedrosa was in relaxed mood as he lifted the covers on his new challenger but after picking up a solitary win and finishing fourth in the championship last term, the 29 year old doesn’t lack motivation for 2015.

“It’s been really nice, and something different to have our Team Presentation here in Bali, so thanks to Astra Honda! It never stops to amaze me how passionate the fans are for our sport in this part of the World. I’ve had a good Winter, with a mix of relaxation and training and now I’m ready and highly motivated to get back on the bike in Sepang in a few days!”
