Stern continues with West-Tec for 2015

1 Mins read

Israeli driver Yarin Stern will continue his association with Team West-Tec F3 for a second season of the EuroFormula Open championship in 2015.

The nineteen-year-old finished fifth in the championship with the team in 2014, claiming six podium finishes, and will be targeting an even better 2015 season with the championship his main target.

“I am very pleased to have re-signed with Team West-Tec,” insisted Stern. “Last year was good but I am looking forward to building upon that.

“I have a great relationship with the team engineers and I am sure I can win races this season.”

Team West-Tec F3 Team Boss John Miller was happy to retain Stern, who was the best placed of the teams’ drivers in 2014.

“Yarin was quick last season and impressed the team,” said Miller. “He took a number of podium finishes and led a race for the first time.

“I am sure he is going to be faster in 2015 and I am looking forward to watching him challenge for our first overall title since 2013.”

Stern is the first driver to be confirmed by the team for 2015. Last year they ran four cars full-time as well as a fifth car for some of the races.
