Albatec Racing Secure Rock Oil Sponsorship

1 Mins read

Albatec Racing has confirmed that it has secured support from Rock Oil for the remaining rounds of both its British Rallycross and European Rallycross campaigns in 2015.

The Rock Oil logo will be seen on both of its Peugeot 208 WRX Supercars in the MSA British Rallycross Championship starting from this weekends third round at Pembrey, where James Grint will join Team Principal Andy Scott in the MSA Supercar class. Rock Oil will also be visible on the cars during the teams assault on the 2015 FIA European Rallycross Championship, where Grint and Jerome Grosset-Janin are already confirmed. The sponsorship deal also extends to Marc Scott‘s 2015 RX150 Buggy campaign.

Albatec Racing Team Principal Andy Scott is excited about the new deal with the renowned oils and lubricants producer.

“We at Albatec Racing are very pleased to be working with Rock Oil,” insisted Scott.  “Their technical department produce the finest quality lubricants, which fit perfectly with our team’s ethos.

“We believe they will deliver the highest level of product for us, and their support gives us confidence for the future development of the Albatec 208RX as we look to build on its recent success in Britain. We are delighted to welcome them into the new market of rallycross and look forward to a successful working partnership for 2015 and beyond.”

Greg Hewitt from Rock Oil is delighted with the new deal.

“We are delighted to be working with Albatec Racing,” said Hewitt.  “Rallycross is a dramatic and exciting motorsport and we are excited to be a working partner for 2015 and hopefully beyond.

“Rock Oil has a long-standing support of racing in all its forms and this new partnership shows our commitment to supporting top class motorsport. Our lubricants have long enjoyed favour within the motorsport arena and our partnership with Albatec will help push the Rock brand to an even greater audience.”

The third round of the 2015 MSA British Rallycross Championship in association with The Shannon Group takes place at Pembrey in Wales this weekend, whilst the first round of the 2015 FIA European Rallycross Championship kicks off next weekend at Mettet in Belgium.
