Sergio Sette Camara took pole position for the 2015 edition of the Masters of Formula 3 event at Zandvoort, as the Motopark driver continued his strong weekend at the Dutch circuit.
Brazilian teenager Sette Camara took pole in the dying moments of the session, taking over from Motopark team-mate Markus Pommer, while Italian Antonio Giovinazzi also slipped ahead of the 2014 German Formula 3 champion onto the front row for Jagonya Ayam with Carlin.
George Russell was fourth for Carlin ahead of Van Amersfoort Racing duo Alessio Lorandi and Arjun Maini, with Motopark’s Sam MacLeod and Nabil Jeffri sharing the fourth row.
Callum Ilott qualified his Red Bull-backed Carlin machine ninth, while Raoul Hyman is tenth for Team West-Tec F3.
In a change to the usual Masters of F3 schedule, organisers have adopted the Macau Grand Prix format, with a qualifying race taking place later today for twelve laps, with an hour-long Masters of F3 race taking place on Sunday.
