Championship leader Konstantin Tereschenko was able to make the most of the wet conditions at Spa-Francorchamps to take pole position for race one of the EuroFormula Open weekend in Belgium.
Campos Racing driver Tereschenko took his fifth pole of 2015 in tricky conditions, with his time of 2m34.265s enough to see him beat RP Motorsport driver and closest championship rival Vitor Baptista by four-tenths of a second.
Tanart Sathienthirakul ended the session in third for Team West-Tec F3, but was 0.861s back from Tereschenko, while fourth placed Leonardo Pulcini was the only other driver to get within a second of the pole time for DAV Racing.
RP Motorsport team-mates Igor Walilko and Damiano Fioravanti will start side-by-side on the third row of the grid, while Diego Menchaca of Campos Racing and Yu Kanamaru of Emilio de Villota Motorsport form row four.
Yarin Stern of Team West-Tec F3 and Alessio Rovera of DAV Racing completed the top ten.
