2015 Mid Wales Stages Winner Anderson commits to 2016 MSA BRC season

1 Mins read

2015 Mid Wales Stages winner Jamie Anderson is set to return to defend his victory with the announcement that he will be taking on the full 2016 MSA British Rally Championship season in a Ford Fiesta R5.

BTRDA front-runner Anderson has previously competed with a Mitsubishi Evo 9 and more recently a Mitsubishi WRC05 but over the winter period has picked up a car for the season ahead.

“I am really excited to finally have my new car. After a few years in the BTRDA, the BRC will be another level for me,” explained Anderson.

“I am aiming to have some seat time before the first round, so I hope to learn quickly and build my speed throughout the year. It’s certainly going to be a great challenge!”

Anderson’s announcement is the latest in a recent flurry of news from the revamped MSA British Rally Championship which has already seen confirmation from the likes of WRC driver Elfyn Evans and son of rally icon Ari Vatanen, Max set to take part in the full season.
