The newly revamped MSA British Rally Championship has received a huge boost with the announcement that a deal with Channel 4 has been reached to cover the seven-round series on terrestrial TV, there will also be additional coverage on BT Sport.
Hayfisher Productions will be producing 30-minute shows that will be shown during Channel 4’s weekend morning sports programming. BT Sport viewers will be treated to an extended 60-minute programme with added coverage of the DMACK Junior BRC title battle.
“We are delighted to be involved with the relaunched BRC and to have Channel 4 and BT Sport onboard is a real coup,” said Richard Hay, Director at Hayfisher Productions.
“We have worked previously with British and World Championship rallying and it is great to be back involved with the sport once again. Rallying in Britain is on the up and it is fantastic to have the Championship on terrestrial television for the new-look 2016 season.”
