Triple FIA European Rally Champion Kajetan Kajetanowicz will make his fourth WRC2 appearance of the season on this weekend’s RallyRACC Catalunya in the Lotus Rally Team Ford Fiesta R5.

Defending ERC champion Kajetanowicz has contested a part-time campaign this year as he continues his transition to the World Championship and the Polish driver can’t wait for the event.

“Rally de España is a unique event and I would not lie if I say that I dreamt about this start. It requires perfect preparation of the whole team and everybody has to adapt to different conditions.” said Kajetanowicz.

He added: “The competition in the World Championship is always at top level and we are ready for it. We want to deliver plenty of excitement to the fans because we know they follow our actions and support us in our fight.”

“Although this is my first season it gives us a lot of fun and huge load of experience which I want to use step by step.”

So far in 2018, he has improved his finishing result on every event he has contested and so far has a season best result of fourth place in WRC2 on Rally Turkey back in September.

The 54. RallyRACC Catalunya – Costa Daurada 2018 gets under way on Thursday 25 October with the crowd favourite Barcelona city stage returning to the event.
