Christian Lester has been confirmed to drive for Rossoverde Racing for the 2022 GB4 championship.
Lester has enjoyed several stints in F4 championships.
The 23-year-old made his single seater debut in 2018 with two races at Silverstone in the British F4 championship.
Lester then moved on to the Australian F4 championship, making an appearance in the Australian Grand Prix support race in 2019.
The Brit has also appeared in two Ford Fiesta races, securing pole position last year.
Lester returns to racing this year with Rosoverde Racing in the GB4 championship.
To celebrate the team’s 50th anniversary this year, Lester will drive the number 7 car, the same number that the 1999 F1 runner up Eddie Irvine used throughout his career.
Christian Lester can’t wait to get back in the seat and return to the track, “I’m really looking forward to getting back to racing this year in the GB4 Championship.
”It’s a great opportunity to test myself again after a couple of years out of the cockpit, and with lots of challenging circuits to discover. We’ve had a productive few days of testing and I can’t wait to get started at Snetterton.”
Hector Lester, Team Principal, added, “We’re really looking forward to the first round of GB4 and to get Rossoverde Racing back into the British GT paddock in a few weeks, which has always had a special resonance for us.
“It’s going to be an exciting season, and we can’t wait to get going. We hope that we can expand to two cars during the year with an additional driver alongside Christian.”
