Carl Breeze and Adam Morgan are set to battle it out at Silverstone this weekend for the 2011 Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup and with it, a prize drive in the 2012 British Touring Car Championship, the duo split by just eight points heading into the meeting.

Four drivers headed into the last meeting at Brands Hatch with a realistic chance of taking the title, but a crash for Tom Sharp and two fourth places for Nathan Freke was enough for them to slip away, leaving Total Control Racing's Breeze and Ciceley Racing's Morgan to fight it out at Silverstone.

Breeze heads to the final rounds in the championship lead after taking two wins at Brands, the former BTCC racer's fifth and sixth successes of the season. Morgan took the other race win meanwhile, his third of the campaign, to put himself right in the hunt after an incredibly consistent season.

Sharp and Freke sit third and fourth in the points with only slim outside chances of taking glory, both having to rely on those ahead to suffer severe misfortune to snatch the title away. IDL's Sharp dropped away due to his Brands crash, while Century Motorsport's Freke is rueing a disappointing start to the season after clawing himself back in remote contention over the past few meetings.

In the G50 class, Tom Ingram secured the class title at Brands Hatch after his dominant season, the Plans Motorsport driver having taken ten wins in 24 races. With the title sealed, all eyes are now on the big fight for second, with Jody Fannin sitting one point ahead of Aaron Williamson. The latter closed the gap at Brands by taking a superb triple class victory for FML, with Team Pyro's Fannin currently on a disappointing run of form, failing to finish on the podium in the last six races.

Also looking to end their seasons in the competitive G50 class on a high will be Jake Hill, Andrew Richardson and Louise Richardson, who will all be aiming to add to their podium tallies in the final two races.
