Jake Hill signs with JHR Development

1 Mins read

Jake Hill has signed with multiple championship winning team JHR Developments as they announce their expansion into the revamped Ginetta G40 Championship for 2010.

Hill will lead the Dronfield-based team that has enjoyed success in every series it has competed in for the last 16 years. This year sees the team running in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, ELF Renault Clio Cup and the Ginetta G40 series.

2009 saw Hill take a hat-trick of wins, two more podiums, five fastest race laps and five pole positions.

“We're absolutely delighted to have secured Jake to lead our new Ginetta G40 squad this year, he's undoubtedly going to be one of the front-runners”, said JHR team principal Steven Hunter, “Ginetta G40 is clearly going to be as competitive as ever but we're confident we'll be able to hit the ground running and mount a sustained championship challenge throughout the year.”

He added: “Our aim is to field at least two cars for our first season so we're welcoming approaches from any other drivers interested in joining JHR. Having Jake onboard is a huge bonus and a major boost for the team. The coming year promises to be a very exciting one for JHR, we can't wait for the season to begin.”
