Hamilton Set For 24 Hour Race Debut

1 Mins read

Archie Hamilton is set to make his 24 hour race debut this weekend as he takes part in the Britcar 24 at Silverstone.

Hamilton will be driving a Welch Motorsport prepared Seat Leon Supercopa and is looking forward to getting out on track.

“I've not had long in the car yet but it's great to drive and a completely different style to anything I've been in before.” said Hamilton. “I really enjoyed it and can't wait to be getting in for my first race stint. I'm hoping that it will give me valuable endurance experience and open doors for the future.”

Last week saw Hamilton make his British GT debut which unfortunately ended in the first qualifying session after high speed shunt at Paddock Hill bend.
