Nigel Melker set the fastest time on the final day of GP3 Series post-season testing at Jerez in Spain. The Dutchman was quickest during the morning session, and his time was not bettered in the afternoon.
Although there were no new faces for the final day, there were some switches of seats. Rio Haryanto rejoined ART Grand Prix, replacing Alexander Sims, who drove for Status GP.
During the morning session it was regular series drivers who were on top, with Melker quickest for RSC Mucke Motorsport. Michael Christensen was second for MW Arden, with Roberto Merhi third for Addax Team. Christensen's MW Arden teammate Simon Trummer was fourth, with Nico Muller rounding out the top five for Jenzer Motorsport.
Christensen dominated the afternoon session, with Haryanto second and Sims third. Trummer was fourth, with the third MW Arden driver Matias Laine in fifth.
