Jason Mills will be looking to hit the ground running as he launches his assault on the Ma5da MX5 Cup with MGA Motorsport.
Mills was last seen on track at Brands Hatch where he made his debut in the Renault Clio Cup in the last round of the series impressing many in the closing race which saw him finish an impressive fifth place.
MGA Motorsport are set to run three cars in the new MK3 championship which takes place at 9 meetings with a total of 20 races.
Talking of the move Mills commented: “It's a brand new championship for 2011 using the new MK3 cars and it has already managed to attract a full grid of 30 cars.
“If the Ma5da MX5 championship using the older MK1 cars is anything to go by, spectators and drivers alike are all going to be in for a treat.”
Mills has a clear goal for the year: “I have one aim for the 2011 season and that is to win the championship. I have great support behind me in the form of MGA Motorsport and all the ingredients to make this a winning year for me and the team”
