Rizla Suzuki Ready For Final Test

1 Mins read

The Rizla Suzuki squad are ready to roll into Qatar for the final pre-season test of 2011. The team will be hoping that Álvaro Bautista will continue to improve as he has done during the previous two tests.

Bautista will be testing on both days, and the team will also be joined by ex-MotoGP and Suzuki rider, John Hopkins. The Anglo-American rider finished 4th in the championship in 2007 and he has recently joined British Superbike team Samsung Cresent Suzuki and will be assisting with some PR filming throughout the test as he looks to recover from wrist surgery.

Looking ahead to the floodlit test, Bautista said, “After the two good tests at Sepang we have a better idea about the bike and a good setting to start with at Qatar.”

He continued, “This final test will be very important for us, as it will be the last time we can make some more improvements to the GSV-R before the first race. I am really looking forward to racing again and that can't come soon enough for me. The team has worked very well in the pre-season and we need to carry this on and into the rest of the year.”
