Toni Elias Struggles In FP3

1 Mins read

Toni Elias is still searching for that eliusive rear grip that has been plaguing his LCR Honda throughout the weekend so far.

The Moto2 champion has been languishing at the bottom of the timesheets though all three of the practice sessions, with only slight improvements as each session went on.

“We are facing a difficult situation although we have tried many things on the bike,” said Elias.

His frustrations continued. “Even today we have worked on chassis set up and suspension regulations to get a good feeling on the rear but I am still missing grip because we can not warm the rear tyre enough. Like this I do not feel comfortable in the corner exit but we still have one session to fine tune the bike before the race on Sunday”.
