While opening this year's Goodwood Revival, The Earl of March announced the provisional dates for the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and Moving Motor Show.

The Festival of Speed is scheduled to take place on the same weekend it has for the last three years, the weekend of 29th June to 1st July, with the 2012 theme for the event currently being finalised. A day before this, Thursday 28th June, should be Goodwood's third Moving Motor Show.

The unique Goodwood Revival is provisionally scheduled for the weekend of 14th to 16th September. As in previous years, admission to all Goodwood motor sport events will be strictly by advance ticket only, with 2012 ticket sales commencing from Monday 31 October 2011.
