John Hopkins is now in a position to clinch the title in tomorrow's opening race. To do so, he must lead by more than 25 points and that can happen in the following ways…

Hopkins will win the title if…

  • He wins with Tommy Hill sixth or lower
  • He finishes second with Hill 11th or lower
  • He finishes third with Hill 15th or lower

If Hopkins fails to finish in the top three, the championship will be decided in the final race.
