He has been replaced by Adrien Tambay for the final round of the season.

Tambay, who has previously driven for Pons Racing at Monaco earlier in the campaign, could only manage 23rd in the morning free practice session before improving to 19th later in the day.

The Frenchman, who is the son of former F1 driver Patrick Tambay, has competed primarily in Auto GP this term and was fourth in the standings with one victory over the course of the season.
