After clinching the Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship title despite a DNF at the finale at Brands Hatch driver pairing Aaron Scott and Craig Wilkins have announced they are to take to European competition in 2012.

With GT Cup champion Andy Ruhan joining the established duo the focus will be on a full season in the Pro-Am Cup class of the Blancpain Endurance Series in a brand new Dodge Viper. The six round series will take the trio some of the most famous tracks in Europe including, Monza and Spa-Francorchamps, as well as a home race at Silverstone.

“2011 has been a great season for us and the hard work of everyone involved at GT3 Racing has enabled us to secure the Britcar Endurance title,” said Aaron Scott. “It's a shame that we had the fuel pressure problem at Brands Hatch but that's motor racing. We are now looking forward to a new challenge racing in the Blancpain Endurance Championship. The competition will be very strong and we are looking to make a good impression and get some good results. It’s great to continue with the Viper and I am very grateful to Dodge for their support in building our new car.”

Before the 2012 season begins the championship winning car will contest the 24 Hours of Dubai (January 12-14).

Scott qualified the car second for the three hour Britcar finale, and took the lead early but was forced back into the garage with the fuel pressure problem. However, they had already secured the championship win at the end of a season which included, six class wins, eight pole positions and eight fastest laps.
