Up and coming riders Josh Elliott and Niall Campbell will be supported by the Young Riders Fund for a second year in succession after a vote among the fund's supporters and friends. The teenage pair benefitted from the collaboration last year and 64% of voters chose to extend the partnership.

The Young Riders Fund is run by volunteers with a passion for motorcycle racing and with donations from supporters and sponsors, they provide financial assistance to riders starting their careers.

18 year old Campbell, from Lanarkshire, will stay with the Grant Racing team in the National Superstock 600 Championship and has praised the YRF for giving him the confidence to compete at such a young age.

“I've had a great experience previously with the YRF and I'm looking forward to continuing to receive their backing,” he said. “The fund's support has really helped motivate me and has given me extra confidence. I'm very excited about the 2012 season and hope to share some great moments with the YRF and its supporters.”

Elliott, 17, has joined Pr1mo Bournemouth Kawasaki for the upcoming National Superstock 1000 season and the Northern Irish youngster is looking to repay the YRF for their support.

“I'm delighted to be a part of the young riders fund again for 2012. Everyone involved is very supportive and they are great bunch of people. I'm looking forward to meeting a lot more of them this year at BSB. I will be working extremely hard to achieve my goals and fly the flag for the YRF this season.”

Both riders will get their 2012 campaigns underway at Brands Hatch on Easter weekend.
