Ginetta have revealed that the top drivers in the 2012 Ginetta Junior Championship and the 2012 Ginetta Junior Ireland Championship will be receiving a special prize of a test in an NGTC British Touring Car

On top of the previously announced prize of the use of a Ginetta for either the Ginetta Juniors (G40J), Ginetta GT Supercup (G50) or Total Quartz Ginetta GT5 Challenge (G40) for 2013, the winner and runner up of the UK series and the winner of the Irish series will now also win a test in a Speedworks Motorsport-prepared Toyota Avensis, with help from reigning Supercup champion Adam Morgan.

Ginetta Championship Co-ordinator Max Gregory said: “This is a great opportunity for our junior drivers in both the UK and Irish Championships. Aspirations of young drivers are changing, and it is clear that the majority of these drivers are stepping away from the stereotype of Formula One dreams and looking more towards a career in Touring Cars or GT Racing. We think that to have the opportunity to drive a current specification touring car at such a young age will be inspirational for our junior drivers”
