Ginetta are offering the next generation of racing drivers to get their first taste of car racing with an exclusive test session at Bedford Autodrome on 31st July.

Budding young racers will be invited to spend a day with Ginetta at the Bedfordshire test track and learn the fundamental basics of becoming a racing driver behind the wheel of a Ginetta G40 racer.

Drivers will receive two track sessions, amounting to around 45 minutes per drivers, where they will receive one-to-one tuition from a highly qualified instructor. Off track, drivers will receive an overview of data collected from their time on track and general advice on how to improve their driving styles.

All those who take part in the test day will receive half price entry into the 2013 Silverstone Ginetta Junior Scholarship, which offers one youngster a fully-funded season in the 2013 Ginetta Junior Championship, worth over £40,000.

Ginetta Championships Manager, Max Gregory said: “The Ginetta test day is a great way for young drivers to test their mettle in one of our cars. The Junior series is the most high-profile one of its kind in the UK, so it's a great avenue for youngsters to start their careers. We have experienced instructors and data engineers on hand to ensure that the drivers really do get the most out of their day with us.”

No license is required to take part, however, to be eligible drivers date of birth must be between 01.01.1996 and 31.03.1999. For more information or to book your place email [email protected].
