Ginetta Offer Huge eBay Prize For National Motorsport Week

1 Mins read

In celebration of National Motorsport Week, British manufacturer Ginetta have listed a place on their Ginetta Junior test session and entry into their 2013 Ginetta Junior Scholarship scheme on the popular online auction site eBay.

The test day, taking place at Bedford Autodrome on 31st July, offers young drivers a chance to get their first taste of driving a race car. The winning bidder will be invited to spend the day with Ginetta and learn the basics of becoming a racing driver in their 1800cc Zetec-engined Ginetta G40, before then entering the 2013 Silverstone Ginetta Junior Scholarship, which sees young drivers battle it out, with the winner receiving a fully-funded season in the 2013 Ginetta Junior Championship, worth over £40,000.

Ginetta Championships Manager, Max Gregory said; “The Ginetta test day is a great way for young drivers to test their mettle in one of our cars, and the Junior series is the most high-profile one of its kind in the UK, so it's a great avenue for youngsters to start their careers. We are delighted to auction off one of these sought-after places in the name of charity.”

The eBay auction will close on 14th July, with all proceeds going directly to the Motorsport Foundation. To bid, visit their eBay site by clicking here.
