Webster Preparing For F3 Bow

1 Mins read

Protyre Formula Renault BARC front-runner Josh Webster will make his Formula 3 category debut this coming weekend during the high-profile RTL GP Masters of F3 event at Zandvoort.

18 year old Webster will run in a Dallara Mugen-Honda National Class car at the event in Holland, competing against drivers from the British F3 International Series and F3 Euroseries. Webster tested the car recently at Anglesey for top British team T-Sport.

“This is a massive step for me, a really big jump in at the deep end, but I can't wait to get out there and learn as much as I can”, said the Suffolk teenager. “The test I had went very well, the team were great and I really enjoyed driving the car. It's obviously a much higher level than anything I've done in my career so far so the aim is to just make the most of such a fantastic experience.”

Webster is hoping to dovetail the remaining UK rounds of the British F3 season alongside his Renault BARC title challenge is the required funding can be secured.
