14:05Intersport Racing win the pole in Class Three, Craigsted Engineering take Class Four

14:04Team Tiger win the battle of the Marcos Mantis to take the Class Two pole

14:02Team LNT have secured pole position for the 2012 Britcar 24 Hours by 0.3 seconds from the Strata 21 Mosler

13:5990 seconds left and Javier Morcillo moves to just three tenths down on Team LNT. Two more laps, maximum in this session left

13:55Five minutes left – can anyone move the Team LNT off pole position??

13:52The Craigsted Engineering Astra goes faster to increase the hold on the Class Four pole position in 16th overall

13:50Elsewhere, experienced Britcar team Intersport have taken the lead of Class Three

13:50Javier Morcillo takes the Strata 21 Mosler up to second, 1.1.2. seconds slower than the Team LNT Ginetta which still hold pole position.

13:42Javier Morcillo has taken over the Mosler – if that’s going to get pole, it’s going to be now.

13:42Quick flurry of stops – Lwarence Tomlinson steps out of the G55, Lee Mowle out of the optimum car and Paul White out of the Mosler

13:40Mission Motorsport, the team made up of ex-servicemen are currently 25th overall

13:33And for the first time today the Mac G Racing Ultima has appeared on the timing screens

13:30Team LNT remain on top of the times, with their Ginetta G55 GT3

13:21The Corum Sport Chevron moves into the lead of Class Three in eighth overall.

13:19The Team Tiger Marcos Mantis moves into fourth overall to lead Class Two on a 2:09.256

13:1615 minutes into the hour session Team LNT are fastest, MB Motorsport’s Aston second and the Neil Garner Mosler third. All Class One cars.

13:15And the Craigsted Engineering Vauxhall Astra leads Class Four

13:14Britcar regulars MMC Motorsport lead Class Three in their #57 BMW M3

13:13Topcats Racing’s lone entry this year sits in fourth place leading Class Two.

13:11Team LNT take seven seconds off their best time to move onto a 2:03.414.

13:10Mike Brown’s GT3 Aston Martin slots into second fastest – it’s a lovely looking chrome number.

13:09It’s Ginetta 1-2 with G55 leading G50  with a fastest lap of 2:11.508.

13:06Optimum Motorsport go fastest after the first flying lap with their Ginetta G50, before Team LNT take the top spot with their Ginetta G55

13:03And the first news of the 2012 Britcar 24 Hours is that it is raining for the start of qualifying.
