Kellet And HHC Motorsport Combine For Ginetta Juniors 2013

1 Mins read

James Kellet has re-signed with HHC Motorsport for an assault on the 2013 Ginetta Junior Championship,

The 14 year old, who tackled the 2012 Ginetta Scholarship, ran with the Yorkshire-based outfit during the recent season-ending Ginetta Winter Series, taking an impressive eighth in his first ever car race.

Now Kellet, who won the KF3 British Open karting title in 2012, is set for his first full car racing campaign next season , with his family in negotiation for sponsorship with energy drink manufacturer Boost Drinks.

“It’s a perfect fit,” explains James’ father, Lee. “HHC is a Yorkshire team, Ginetta is a Yorkshire company and James is a Yorkshire lad. We were really pleased with the team in the Winter Series, helping to develop James as a driver and we are looking forward to the season with Charlie Kemp and the guys.”

“I think James has a great future ahead of him,” added HHC Motorsport’s Charlie Kemp. “He belied his lack of car racing experience in the Winter Series and he was very impressive. I know that the circuits will be new to James this season but I think that he will make very good progress and be a championship front-runner. This is a two-year plan for James to learn and to develop and we are looking forward to a successful season with James.”
