Devon Modell has become the latest driver to sign up for the 2013 Renault UK Clio Cup with Scuderia Vittoria.
Modell is a former British Champion in the Stars of Tomorrow national karting championship and will make the jump to Clio Cup machinery after a few years away from racing.
“It’s great to finally announce that I will compete with Scuderia Vittoria in 2013,” said Modell. “Scuderia Vittoria are very professional in their approach, and I’m sure that I will learn a lot as I complete my first year in cars.”
Scuderia Vittoria Director Danny Buxton also added: “Devon is a really exciting talent that held a huge reputation in karting. I have been chasing Devon for the last two years, as he tested with us at Snetterton previously and was immediately on the pace. He is a very intelligent, calm and confident driver who possesses great pace and I am sure that he will surprise a lot of people in the TOCA paddock in 2013.”
