Connor Mills Joins Ginetta Junior Grid

1 Mins read

Karting star Connor Mills will make his car-racing debut this season in the Ginetta Junior Championship.

Mills will run as a privateer, with 2013 planned to be a learning year ahead of a challenge for the championship in 2014.

In 2012, Mills enjoyed success in the Rotax MiniMax class, winning the Super One British Championship and the London Cup Championship, while also finishing runner-up in Formula Kart Stars.

Mills is supported by Arden International and iZone driver performances, while he will also have the backing of Nicky Grist Motorsport, having won the coveted Nicky Grist Golden Helmet Award for his performances in karting.

“The Ginetta Junior Championship has attracted us because firstly, it means my father will be able to run the car which obviously keeps costs down, and secondly, it seems to be a very fair championship with the driver’s ability being the key component,” said Mills.
