Prize BTCC Test For Clio Cup Champion

1 Mins read

Renault UK Clio Cup organisers have announced the 2013 series champion will receive a sensational prize package, including a BTCC test drive.

The champion will have a day at the wheel of one of Motorbase Performance’s NGTC Ford Focuses, with the test fully-funded by the series’ new official tyre partner Dunlop.

Renault UK will also give the title winner the use of one of its brand new 1.6-litre Clio Renaultsport 200 road cars for a year.

“This really is a fantastic prize package”, said championship manager Simon North, “Added to the prestige of winning one of UK motorsport’s biggest and most coveted titles, our champion will also have the chance to showcase their skills in a current specification NGTC touring car. On behalf of everyone involved with the Renault UK Clio Cup, I’d like to say a huge thank you to Dunlop and Motorbase.”

Last year;’s Clio Cup champion Jack Goff recently announced his graduation into the BTCC with Team Hard, making it three former Clio champions on the grid for 2013, joining 2010 and 2006 champions Dave Newsham and Tom Onslow-Cole.
