Dickenson Joins New Clio Euro Cup

1 Mins read

Former Renault UK Clio Cup campaigner David Dickenson has announced an entry into the new-for-2013 Clio Euro Cup.

The move will see the Irishman compete in the new turbocharged fourth generation Clio Cup car, which he is set to receive in the next few weeks.

The championship starts at Imola in three weeks, with Dickenson confident of a strong start to the championship having earned a good result there in 2012.

“Imola is a circuit I love racing at and I’m glad it’s the opening round to the championship,” said Dickenson. “We had a great run there last year and I’m hoping we can pick up on this form again. The car arrives in the next few weeks and I’ve got a pretty intensive testing plan in place once it arrives.”
