Nine-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Loeb and WRC driver Kris Meeke top the list of wildcard entries for the seventh round of the FIA European Rallycross Championship in France.

Joining the two rally stars will be Tanner Foust, who has taken victory in his previous two outings this season and will be hoping to continue his 100% record for 2013.

“Loheac is the temple of rallycross”, said Loeb. “This is a well-known event with a very big crowd. In a sportive side, this is also a very tough race.”

Rounding off a huge list of wildcard entries are a range of current and former French national champions, all looking to upset the order at Loheac. The RallycrossRX regulars will compete in Super1600, but will be battling with a massive field of 40 entries to make it through to continue their championship challenge.

“I’m blown away, I don’t think I’ve ever driven a supercar with this amount of horsepower, it’s just incredible,” said Meeke. “Loheac gives me the perfect chance to put myself up against the best in the business in one of the best cars in the business.”
