Championship Contender Dalton Makes Lanan Switch

1 Mins read

Jake Dalton has switched teams ahead of the penultimate rounds of the 2013 BRDC Formula 4 Championship at Snetterton this weekend, leaving MGR Motorsport to join Lanan Racing.

Dalton currently lies fifth in the F4 championship standings, 69 points behind championship leader and new team-mate Jake Hughes with six races remaining.

The 18 year old won two of the first four races of the season to hold the early championship lead, however a couple of tough meetings have seen him lose touch at the top.

The 18 year old will partner Hughes and Daniel Headlam in a now three car effort.

“We were approached by Jake Dalton to run with us. He’s a good driver and we didn’t want to turn the opportunity down,” said Lanan Racing team principal Graham Johnson.
