Jackson Considers F4 For 2014 After Testing Debut

1 Mins read

Ginetta Junior Championship front-runner Tom Jackson got his first experience of a BRDC Formula 4 car at Brands Hatch today (22 November) as he considers his options for 2014.

The 17 year old finished fifth in the Ginetta Junior Championship this season, taking four podium finishes en-route.

Jackson, who tested a Ginetta G50 GT4 at Silverstone last month, got his first taste of single-seaters with Chris Dittmann Racing at the Kent venue.

“It’s quite a different experience compared to the Ginetta Junior,” said Jackson. “There’s a lot of aero and the slick tyres to get used to and it’s a new sensation and something I’ve had to work on over the day. I feel I’ve adapted very well to the car and it’s something for me to look at doing next year.”
