TCR Expand Into Ginetta Juniors For 2014

1 Mins read

Top Ginetta outfit Total Control Racing have announced they will participate in the Ginetta Junior Championship for the first time next season.

The Wednesbury-based outfit have enjoyed great success in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge and the Ginetta GT Supercup in recent seasons.

The former Renault UK Clio Cup and SEAT Cupra Championship champions finished runner-up in the Ginetta Challenge last season with Mike Robinson, and have finished in the top two of the Supercup with Carl Breeze in each of the last three seasons, winning the title in 2012.

The team will now compete in all three Ginetta series next season, allowing drivers to progress from the Juniors, into the Challenge, then onto the Supercup with the team.

“We’re probably the most successful team competing with Ginetta at the moment,” said TCR team principal Lee Brookes. “The last piece of the jigsaw is to get involved in the Ginetta Juniors and we feel the time is right to add that to what we offer. We’ve had a successful relationship with Ginetta and we’re looking forward to building on that to add success in Ginetta Junior as well with some young, rookie drivers.”
