James Kellett will be one of the favourites for the 2014 Ginetta Junior Championship after confirming his entry with reigning champions HHC Motorsport.
The 15 year old is aiming to complete a hat-trick of Junior titles in 2014, after a sensational maiden campaign of car racing this year saw him pick up the Rookie Cup crown in the main season, before winning the Winter Series in November.
Kellett was one of only two rookies to claim an overall race win in the main championship, taking eight podiums in total, before adding four wins in four races in the Winter Series at Snetterton – results that make him one to watch in 2014.
“My aim is to be the best I can be, I’m definitely with the right team for me – they proved that last year – so hopefully this year I can go on and win the championship,” said Kellett.
“We are delighted to confirm James with us for 2014, he has done us all proud in his maiden season and has come a long way as a driver. I am confident we will see him fighting for the title,” added HHC’s Charlie Kemp.
