Palmer Sticks With HHC For Full F4 Bow

1 Mins read

BRDC Formula 4 Winter Championship race-winner Will Palmer has confirmed he compete a full campaign in the single-seater championship with HHC Motorsport this season.

The 16 year old finished third in the Ginetta Junior Championship last season with the Yorkshire-based outfit, before sticking with them to make his single-seater debut in November’s Winter Championship.

The Sussex-based racer instantly impressed with victory in his fifth race in the category at Brands Hatch, with a further podium at Snetterton putting him fifth in the final standings.

That success means Palmer heads into his first full season of single-seater competition with title ambitions.

“I’m really excited to be moving into Formula 4 next year with HHC Motorsport,” Palmer commented. “Formula 4 was the obvious choice for me, especially after how competitive the series proved to be in its first year.

“I’m also really pleased to be continuing with HHC for what will be my third year driving for them. They are a great group of guys and we proved we could be very strong together in the Formula 4 Winter Championship last year, so hopefully we can build on that and be challenging for podiums and a win or two. It’s going to be a very competitive season with many strong and experienced drivers.”

Palmer joins series returnees Sennan Fielding and Raoul Hyman in HHC’s 2014 line-up.
