JHR Complete 2014 Line-Up With Mitchell

1 Mins read

JHR Developments have confirmed their four car line-up for the 2014 Ginetta Junior Championship, with category race-winner Jack Mitchell their final signing.

Mitchell joins fellow returning driver Jamie Chadwick, current Ginetta Junior Scholarship winner Alex Sedgwick and series rookie Dan Zelos at the Derbyshire-based outfit.

Mitchell returns for his second season with a championship challenge in his sights after a strong maiden campaign in 2013. The 15 year old was the first rookie winner of the season with an outright victory in Round 12 at Snetterton.

Three further podium finishes took him to seventh in the final main championship standings, and he followed that up with third overall in the season-ending Ginetta Junior Winter Series.

“We are really excited Jack has come on board for the 2014 season,” said JHR Developments team principal Steven Hunter. “Jack has already proved last year he can win races and we believe Jack will be quick. Jack is a pleasure to work with and maintains a very composed level of determination, which will be a valuable asset to his championship hopes. The championship is looking very competitive and we are looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
